SMART™
Solution Methodology with Account Results Tracking™

To ensure the success of any of our solutions, it is imperative that each of the following project steps be completed in a way that matches the given engagement. The scope of each step performed, who completes a given step (Sienna and/or Client personnel), what steps have already been completed, and the amount of time spent on each may vary significantly, but every successful solution address each of the seven (7) steps outlined below.

It is the successful completion of each of these steps that ensures that projects are completed on time and budget; and that the client's goals, objectives and ROI (return on investment) are met.



Step #1:
Needs Determination

The Smart Assessment™ will allow marketing, sales, service and support organizations to examine and critique their current situation. By identifying specific problem areas (i.e. productivity obstacles and process deficiencies), this assessment assists organizations in targeting areas for process improvement and setting overall project goals. The Smart IT Analysis™ facilitates the selection of a set of possible product alternatives that will match a company's existing, or planned, corporate IT infrastructure while providing the functions, features and data needed to implement desired process changes and achieve the stated project goals.

Product Selections

The Smart Technology Selection Process™ assists an organization in comparing, rating and making the final product(s) acquisition decisions.


Step #3:
Design Requirements

The Smart Design & Specification™ assists an organization with the "design" of the project's scope and the development of the most effective set-up, configuration and overall software customization plan for the chosen product(s). This determines the best ways to implement desired process changes and meet the stated project goals. The proposed database design and software customization requirements are approved and documented within the "specification".


Step #4:
Deploy the System

The Smart Deployment Plan™ ensures that the project implementation will be completed on time and within budget. A Pilot Test™ may be required, allowing a selected group of representatives from the organization to test the new system and recommend any needed modifications prior to a company-wide rollout. The Smart Deployment Plan™ allows an organization to deploy their chosen solution in the most expedient and effective manner possible.


Steps #5:
Training Program

With the proper training you can significantly shorten the learning cycle and raise the users' comfort level immediately. Armed with a solid understanding of the fundamental functionality of the new system, users are able to quickly achieve efficiencies and productivity gains. These successes will lead to increased usage, which in turn multiplies the benefits of the solution to the organization. We provide three different class types: Private, Custom and Mentoring with four levels of training: End user, Advanced End User, Administrator and Advanced Administrator. Courses are offered in all the solutions we provide.


Steps #6:
Support Program

Our Customer Care Programs™ assist organizations with the set-up and operation of in-house end-user support programs. It is also designed to supplement your support operations with direct phone, email and remote access support with Sienna Customer Care Agents™ where and when needed.


Step #7:
Account Results Tracking (ART)

Account Results Tracking™ helps you track current results, make on-going adjustments, and outlining both short and long-range plans for the enhancement of your system; thus extending and improving the usefulness of your solution for years to come.
